Skintegra ÚNA

Úna is a universal neutral cream suitable for dry to very dry, scaly, sensitive and atopic skin of children and adults. It is rich in gentle emollients (triglycerides and fatty acids that simulate our natural lipid film), ceramide precursors that repair damaged skin barrier function, beta glucan and panthenol that soothe inflammation (redness and itching) and rapeseed oil that contains balancing omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.

ÚNA was tested in vivo under the supervision of a dermatologist on individuals with a history of allergies and a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis.

In this type of skin (as well as in psoriasis), the hydrolipidic barrier that should protect the integrity of the skin is significantly compromised and leads to a dried, cracked and scaly surface layer of the skin susceptible to infection. Ceramides, lipids that healthy skin naturally produces, are an extremely important component of the hydrolipidic barrier, and patients with atopy have a large deficit of this natural skin lubricant.

ÚNA contains sphingolipids and phospholipids that generate significant biologically active ceramides, sphingosine (which regulates the skin microbiome, which is often disrupted in atopic dermatitis) and signal carriers that participate in cellular communication. In this way, the skin's damaged hydrolipidic barrier achieves a natural defense function.

In addition to ceramide precursors, another significant ingredient is the immunomodulator carboxymethyl beta glucan (CM beta glucan). It is a polysaccharide that has multiple functions in topical application:

• regenerates cells responsible for collagen production,
• promotes adequate immune function of skin cells,
• has an antioxidant effect and is proven to repair cellular damage caused by UVA radiation,
• in challenge tests with detergent, it shows significant protection of the hydrolipidic barrier,
• stimulates wound healing by promoting re-epithelialization, mobilization of macrophages (leukocytes) and collagen deposition at the site of damage.

Beta glucan in our universal neutral cream (pH 5.5) is combined with the soothing trio of betaine, panthenol and bisabolol, which reduce inflammatory processes, and rapeseed oil, which is a natural source of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids and vitamin E.

Tested for heavy metals, including nickel. Suitable for local use on children's skin over 4 months of age.

ÚNA is formulated without the addition of parabens, perfumes, alcohol, synthetic dyes and other irritants and is available in hygienic airless packaging. For extremely dry skin, combine with an occlusive such as Naro.
