Skintegra Solar II SPF50 is a moisturizing and mattifying fluid for the skin of the face, providing very high broad-spectrum UV protection (UVA + UVB). We have carefully selected six photostable and safe organic UV filters for this formulation. Building upon the success of Solar I, we have introduced a sixth, photostable, and water-soluble UV filter to create an even lighter, more airy texture.

These advanced filters work synergistically to absorb, scatter, and reflect UV radiation, effectively shielding the skin from sun damage. Additionally, they offer protection against infrared radiation emitted by electronic devices and visible light.

Solar II SPF50 boasts an exceptionally high level of UVA protection, with a UVA-PF rating of 49.1.

Enriched with antioxidant and hydrating components such as ectoin, green tea, betaine, and vitamin E, Solar II SPF50 is an ideal daily protective care product suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Dermatologically tested in an extended trial, Solar II SPF50 is loved by those seeking extremely light and fast-absorbing "oil-free" textures, offering a balanced hydration and a healthy finish without excessive shine. This non-greasy formula leaves no white marks or heavy feeling on the skin.

For combination to oily skin types, Solar II SPF50 can serve as a standalone moisturizing product that simultaneously protects and nourishes the skin. For normal to dry skin, we recommend pairing Solar II SPF50 with a serum, serum emulsion, or cream of your choice.

Similar to Solar I SPF30, Solar II SPF50 is designed for long-term and consistent photoprotection, necessitating thorough removal in the evening. Regular use of products with a protective factor helps prevent premature photoaging of the skin.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Solar I SPF30 and Solar II SPF50 fluids?

Compared to Solar I, Solar II has a higher UV protection factor and leaves the skin with a slightly matte appearance after application. Both products contain new generation filters and antioxidant and hydrating components.

What does the UVA-PF label mean?

A high protection factor provides protection against UVB (B as BURNING) radiation that causes burns on the surface of the skin, while UVA (A as AGEING) radiation penetrating deeper into the dermis causes premature aging of the skin. The number next to the SPF is the UVB protection level. In order for the product to protect against UVA radiation, the proven level of UVA protection must be at least 1/3 of UVB protection. So, for Solar II SPF50 to be UVA effective, its UVA factor must be at least 50:3 (16.6), and Solar II SPF50 has a high UVA-PF of 49.1.

SPF30 or SPF50 - which one to choose?

Provided you have applied enough product, SPF30 means you are protected from the sun 30 times longer than you would be without using a UV protection product, and SPF50 50 times longer. Specifically, if redness on your skin due to exposure to the sun would appear within 10 minutes, 30 times longer means that the product with this factor protects you for 300 minutes, and factor 50 50 times longer, or 500 minutes. In practice, we usually use significantly smaller amounts of products with SPF, so in case of intensive exposure to the sun, it is advisable to regularly renew the UV protection product, especially if we swim, sweat, wipe with a towel, etc. The choice depends on your skin, its (over)sensitivity to the sun and your preferences, since Solar I SPF30 and Solar II SPF50 provide a different finish after application.

Products with a protective factor often clog my pores. Will this happen if I use Solar II SPF50?

Solar II SPF50 is formulated as a light and fast-absorbing product without oil and does not clog pores, but it is important to emphasize that any product with a protective factor must be thoroughly and completely removed from the skin. Namely, inadequate removal of products with UV protection filters can lead to unwanted product accumulation on the skin, which in turn can result in clogged pores. In this case, we recommend Atomic or Melt Milk as the first step in facial cleansing.
