Teenage skin

Teenage skin is often unbalanced due to hormonal fluctuations. Sebum production is increased, which can lead to clogged pores and inflammatory acne. Lifestyle factors should also be taken into account when adapting a routine for teenage skin: increased sweating caused by physical activity, long-term exposure to UV radiation and improper use (or removal) of makeup are some factors that can also worsen the condition of teenage skin. Teenage skin needs a simple skin care: a mild cleanser, a light moisturizing emulsion, and UV protection when exposed to harmful UV rays. Keratolytics such as salicylic acid and retinoids can also be introduced if comedones and pimples are present along with seborrhea.
