Volcanica is a neutral, purifying, and soothing mask for additional care of normal, combination, and oily skin. Thanks to its thoughtful and elegant formulation, this product combines advanced care for problematic skin with a relaxing ritual. Volcanica is more than just a clay mask. The product is made from a combination of high-quality clays (bentonite + silt), and the hydroglycerin base makes Volcanica creamier and significantly less drying than classic clay masks. The creamy texture, with relatively low viscosity, cleanses pores and soothes inflamed skin while preserving the skin's barrier function and without the usual drying and tightening sensation.

What makes this mask special? Volcanica is a unique mask formulated based on moisturizing glycerin and does not contain oils, giving it a gentle, lubricating texture. Its base contains silt and hygroscopic clay, with the addition of zinc, which excellently cares for skin prone to excessive sebum secretion, clogged pores, and irregularities. Zinc and copper (Cu-Zn) form an excellent and traditionally known combination for the care of very sensitive skin prone to irregularities.

What is silt? Silt is thermal mud found at thermal springs and is therefore rich in elemental sulfur (which can also be detected through the slightly sulfurous smell of the mask), as well as silicon and magnesium, which are effective for the skin. It also contains copper, manganese, and selenium—minerals essential for healthy skin. The fine colloidal sulfur particles in the silt excellently treat dermatological conditions manifested by inflammation, irritation, and blockages, making this mask an ideal supplementary care for skin prone to acne and excessive sebum production.

The minimalist composition is rich in anti-inflammatory and regenerative minerals, moisturizers, the Tazman pepper™ complex that reduces skin reactivity, and clays that attract surface impurities, leaving the face smooth and purified in just 10 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use exfoliants immediately after Volcanica?

Considering that the mask also has a slightly exfoliating effect (like any mask intended for purifying pores), we recommend continuing with hydration and focusing on barrier protection after use.

Sulfur has a very unpleasant smell. And Volcanica?

Volcanica has a neutral and unobtrusive, slightly medicinal smell reminiscent of sulfur, but it is definitely not as repulsive as the smell typically associated with sulfur as a raw material.

. Classic clay masks dry out my skin a lot, but I like their effect on pores. Can I expect drying with Volcanica?

Volcanica has an absorbent effect on excess sebum and dead cells, but it does not dry out the skin. Instead, it leaves the skin smooth and fresh after use.
