Skintegra Lunar is a nourishing cream that moisturizes and regenerates normal to dry and sensitive skin with the first signs of aging.

Lunar is ideal for skin that lacks moisture and lipids, skin that is tired and prone to the formation of dehydration lines, and skin that is sensitive due to intensive treatments based on retinoic and glycolic acid.

The main active substances in Lunar are palmitoyl peptides (that is, matrikins) whose effectiveness has been clinically proven. Tripeptides, or tetrapeptides (Pal-GHK and Pal-GQPR) in addition to reducing the inflammatory response of the skin, also promote the synthesis of collagen 1, elastin, fibronectin and hyaluronic acid naturally present in the skin, which results in visibly improved tone and lifting of skin contours.

These peptides in Skintegra Lunar are strengthened by the action of ubiquinone, which, together with vitamin E, has a reparative, antioxidant and protective effect on stressed skin.

Oat and calendula extracts are useful for damaged and inflamed skin, and the addition of even 5% panthenol and 6% shea butter makes this cream extremely restorative and complementary to evening care in which we use strong active ingredients.

Emollient components are paired with a complex of skin-related humectants for deep hydration.

Skintegra Lunar is an effective, gentle cream with a rich, fast-absorbing texture and a silky finish. It has a delicate vanilla color and a mild, very pleasant smell. It leaves a deeply hydrated feeling on the skin, but not an oily, occlusive film.

What does damAGE repair mean? Is it the same as anti-aging?

Prevention of skin damage and slowing down the degradation of its metabolic functions are the only long-term mechanisms for preserving the health and youthfulness of the skin. Instead the negatively connoted and outdated marketing term anti-age, the term 'damAGE repair' will be found on Skintegra products intended for the prevention and repair of premature skin aging. This term was implemented to educate you about what premature skin aging really is - damage caused by exogenous stressors (UV radiation, environmental pollution, long-term exposure to cosmetic irritants, smoking and other unhealthy lifestyle habits).

I have deep wrinkles. Can I expect to be like I'm 20 again with Lunar?

Unfortunately no. Such a cream does not yet exist on the cosmetics market, and it is highly unlikely that it will exist in the near future. Wrinkles that we see on the surface of the skin are the result of structural changes in much deeper layers of the skin - literally, the building material that supports the structure and refines the surface texture of the skin disappears over time. With Lunar, especially in combination with Superba C in the morning and Lumion in the evening, after two months of regular use you can expect a visibly smoother texture, shallower wrinkles, less dehydration lines, naturally softer and more nourished skin, visible improvement in tone, texture and pigmentation.

I use retinoids / acids / mesotherapy and dermabrasion treatments, can I also use Lunar?

You can combine absolutely all of the above with Lunar, as it is suitable for naturally sensitive skin, as well as skin sensitized by external influences.

I am under 30 years old, and I would like to try this cream. Will Lunar harm me?

This concept was created precisely because of aggressive and negative anti-aging marketing that promises that "anti-aging" creams are rejuvenating. No cream chronologically rejuvenates you, or turns back time - but temporarily and locally stimulates the natural processes that already exist in the skin, which are weakened or slowed down over time. Once these natural processes become dysfunctional, morphological changes occur that we perceive as skin aging. But we will repeat again - prevention is the best strategy. So, will anything bad happen to you if you use Lunar preventively from the age of 23? No. Do you need Lunar if you are 15 years old? Of course not, because your skin is still functioning perfectly well without any help from active ingredients like peptides.

I have oily skin. Is Lunar for me?

Lunar is designed as a cream for normal to dry skin because it has a more nourishing, albeit light and fast-absorbing texture. Oily skin can also try using Lunar, but in the night routine because we believe that during the day the texture of this cream will not suit most people with oily skin.

Is the concentration of 3% palmitoyl peptide (Matrixyl 3000) effective? I see products with 50% Matrixyl and the like.

The cosmetic market is very competitive, so it is not surprising that clinically proven and popular ingredients often go through unethical marketing processes that exaggerate the effectiveness of the product. It is about the following: when somewhere it says 50% Matrixyl solution serum, it does not mean that the product contains 50% Matrixyl as a raw material, but rather a solution in which an unknown percentage of Matrixyl is found. Most often, this percentage is negligible. In the same way, manufacturers can state that Matrixyl is found in a concentration of 10% - 20% of a special solvent system, or they calculate the combined proportions of the ingredients by weight (not percentage) and the like. In this way, consumers believe that they are using high percentages of peptides and do not see results from them, when in fact it is a matter of the fact that they are most likely using a symbolic concentration for which there is no clinically tested effectiveness. SEDERMA Inc., the creator and manufacturer of this peptide complex, cites in all of its instructions clinical results achieved using 3% palmitoyl peptide - and that is the concentration we used in Lunar. After 56 days, a very significant decrease in deep and intermediate wrinkles was obtained for the half face treated with emulsion containing 3% Matrixyl 3000.
