Successful implementation of the project "EcoBloom: Sustainable innovation in packaging for the cosmetics industry"

On May 16, 2025. Creaticon doo successfully completed the implementation of the project entitled "EcoBloom: Sustainable innovation in packaging for the cosmetic industry", mark PK.1.1.06 - version 2, co-financed by the European Union, from the European Fund for Regional Development through the Call for Project Proposals "Innovation Vouchers for SMEs".

The duration of the project was 4 months, from 16 January to 16 May 2025. The project "EcoBloom: Sustainable Innovation in Packaging for the Cosmetics Industry" aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the cosmetics industry by reducing its ecological footprint and improving the competitiveness of companies by implementing innovative, environmentally friendly packaging solutions. The specific objective of the project is to ensure a high level of safety and quality of cosmetic products through the development and validation of recyclable packaging made of mono-material polypropylene (PP), while strengthening the capacity for research, development and innovation through cooperation with scientific and research institutions.

The project activities were:

  • Activity 1. Testing of new sustainable packaging for cosmetic products. The main activity of the project was to conduct extensive testing and validation of new sustainable packaging made of monomaterial polypropylene (PP) for the needs of the cosmetic industry. This activity included cooperation with the Teaching Institute of Public Health Dr. Andrija Štampar, which provided the professional and technical knowledge necessary for the analysis and assessment of the safety, stability and compatibility of the packaging.
  • Activity 2. Project Management. The activity included the successful implementation of the project.
  • Activity 3. Promotion and visibility. The activity included ensuring visibility and promotion of the project.
