Skintegra Solar I is an extremely light daily fluid that protects all skin types from UV radiation (SPF30). Its most important function is high broad-spectrum UV protection (UVA + UVB) along with hydration and preservation of the skin's barrier function.

Skintegra Solar I protects against skin damage caused by sun exposure, and at the same time nourishes, smoothes and softens the skin.

It is intended for all skin types, including sensitive and reactive, on which it shows a high level of tolerance (dermatologically tested in an extended trial).

Solar I has a light fluid texture that is very pleasant and quickly absorbed by the skin. It does not leave a white film and a heavy feeling on the skin.

When formulating, very specific, safe and photostable (non-degrading) organic filters were selected that protect against radiation from the spectrum of UVA, UVB, infrared (which is also emitted by electronic devices) and visible light. Five filters of the latest generation that absorb, disperse and reflect UV radiation through their joint action are Tinosorb S, Tinosorb M, Uvinul A Plus granular, Uvinul T150 and Eusolex OS.

In addition to the combination of selected antioxidants and super-moisturizers (green tea, two forms of vitamin E, betaine and panthenol), Solar I also contains an innovative molecule - ectoin. Ectoin is an extremolite, a versatile amino acid with a photoprotective function, ideal for the regeneration of sensitive and dehydrated skin.

Skintegra Solar I is an adherent, fine emulsion intended for long-term and consistent photoprotection, and therefore it must be thoroughly removed from the skin at the end of the day. On normal to oily skin, Solar I can be used as an only moisturizing product that simultaneously protects and nourishes the skin, while for dry and very dry skin, we recommend Solar I as the final step in your daily skin care.

How to use

In the morning, apply evenly on a clean face as a solo product or after your usual skincare routine. Due to the clinging nature of UV-protective filters, it is necessary to cleanse the skin well in the evening, i.e. treat it in the same way as when removing make-up. As the first step for double cleansing, we suggest Skintegra Atomic, an oily remover that perfectly dissolves even waterproof creams with protective filters.

I don't sunbathe. Do I even need a product with a protection factor?

Tanning is a deliberate prolonged exposure to the sun with the aim of getting a tan, but regardless of whether you practice sunbathing, you should know that we are all exposed to UV radiation every day. The vast majority of UVA radiation (which accounts for up to 95% of all radiation) passes even through glass, and from this comes the recommendation that SPF products need to be used regularly as part of daily skincare, and not only on the beach.

What is the difference between UVA and UVB radiation?

UVA radiation penetrates the deeper layers of the skin and causes its premature photoaging, while UVB radiation acts on the surface layer of the skin and causes its darkening. Tanning and thickening of the skin is a defense mechanism due to exposure to UV radiation. UVA radiation can create reactive oxygen compounds that can indirectly damage DNA. In contrast, UVB is directly absorbed by DNA, which directly leads to molecular structural changes. UV radiation is mutagenic and carcinogenic, and careless sun exposure is a health risk, especially for predisposed individuals with a personal or family history of cancerous skin changes.

What does protection factor 30 actually mean??

Provided you have applied enough product, SPF 30 means you are protected from the sun 30 times longer than you would be without using a UV protection product. If redness appears on your skin after 10 minutes of exposure to the sun, 30 times longer means that the product with this factor protects you for 300 minutes. In practice, we usually use significantly smaller amounts of products with SPF, and therefore, in case of intense sun exposure, it is advisable to regularly reapply the UV protection product, especially if we swim, sweat, wipe with a towel, etc.

Will Solar I clog my pores?

This is the most common complaint about face sunscreens, and the most common reason for inconsistency in use despite the knowledge that UV radiation also leads to premature skin aging and potential health problems. Solar I is formulated as a 100% non-comedogenic product that should be thoroughly removed at the end of the day. Inadequate removal of products with UV protection filters can lead to unwanted product accumulation on the skin, which in turn can lead to clogged pores. Skintegra Atomic is specially designed to dissolve resistant products such as powder and SPF creams, and we recommend it as the first step in cleansing.
