Skintegra Solar II SPF50

€32,00

Skintegra Solar II SPF50 is a hydrating and mattifying face fluid that provides very high broad-spectrum UV protection (UVA + UVB).

Six photostable and safe organic UV filters have been selected for this formulation. In addition to the next-generation filters used in Solar I, a sixth photostable and water-soluble UV filter has been included, which allows for a very lightweight and breathable texture. These filters work together to absorb, scatter, and reflect UV radiation, providing strong protection against UV-induced skin damage. In addition to UV radiation, these filters also protect your skin from infrared (emitted by electronic devices) and visible light.

Solar II SPF50 also stands out for its very high UVA protection level, so we can proudly say that the UVA-PF of this product is 49.1.

The addition of antioxidant and hydrating components (ectoin, green tea, betaine, and vitamin E) makes Solar II SPF50 an ideal product for daily protective care for all skin types. This product has been dermatologically tested and is suitable for sensitive skin.

If you like extremely lightweight and fast-absorbing oil-free textures and you are looking for a good balance between hydration and a healthy finish without excess shine, Solar II SPF50 will be your go-to daily sunscreen. This texture does not leave white traces or a heavy feeling on the skin.

For combination to oily skin, Solar II SPF50 can be used as a standalone hydrating product that simultaneously protects and nourishes the skin. For normal to dry skin, we recommend combining Solar II SPF50 with a face serum, serum emulsion, or cream of your choice. Like Solar I SPF30, Solar II SPF50 is designed for long-lasting and consistent sun protection, so it should be thoroughly removed from the skin in the evening.

Regular use of a product with a protective factor prevents premature photoaging of the skin.

  • FAQ

What is the difference between Solar I SPF30 and Solar II SPF50 fluid?

Compared to Solar I, Solar II has a higher UV protection factor and leaves the skin looking slightly matte after application. Both products contain next-generation UV filters as well as antioxidant and hydrating components.

    What does the "UVA-PF" mean?

A high protection factor provides protection against UVB (B as BURNING) radiation that causes burns on the surface of the skin, while UVA (A as AGEING) radiation penetrating deeper into the dermis causes premature ageing of the skin. The number next to SPF is the UVB protection level. In order for the product to protect against UVA radiation, the proven level of UVA protection must be at least 1/3 of UVB protection. So, for Solar II SPF50 to be UVA effective, its UVA factor must be at least 50:3 (16.6), and Solar II SPF50 has a high UVA-PF of 49.1.

SPF30 or SPF50 - which one to choose?

Assuming you have applied an adequate amount of the product, SPF30 means you are protected from the sun 30 times longer than you would be without using a UV protection product, while SPF50 provides 50 times longer protection. Specifically, if your skin would normally start to turn red after 10 minutes of sun exposure, being protected for 30 times longer means the product with this factor would protect you for 300 minutes, and SPF50 for 50 times longer, which is 500 minutes. In practice, we often use significantly less product with SPF, so in the case of intense sun exposure, it is recommended to regularly reapply the UV protection product, especially if swimming, sweating, and similar activities are involved. The choice depends on your skin, its (over)sensitivity to the sun, and your preferences since Solar I and Solar II provide a different finish after application.

Products with a protective factor often clog my pores. Will that happen if I use Solar II SPF50?

Solar II SPF50 is formulated as a lightweight and fast-absorbing oil-free product that does not clog pores. However, it is important to emphasize that any product with a protective factor should be thoroughly and completely removed from the skin. Inadequate removal of products with UV protection filters can lead to unwanted accumulation on the skin, which can result in clogged pores. In this case, we recommend using Atomic or Melt Milk as the first step in facial cleansing.
