Skintegra Retiron 0.05
Skintegra Retiron 0.05 is a serum emulsion based on 0.05% encapsulated retinal, fortified with niacinamide, three essential ceramides and their precursors, antioxidants, panthenol and madecasoside.
Retiron 0.05 prevents the appearance of comedones and pimples and accelerates their healing with a preventive effect on premature signs of aging.
What is retinal?
Retinal (or retinaldehyde) is a precursor of retinoic acid (vitamin A) which has clinically proven multiple effects on acne and premature aging of the skin. It is the strongest retinoid available over the counter, and it works even 11x faster than retinol. The encapsulated form of retinal (which means that the active ingredient is in a sheath and is activated only in contact with the skin) enables slow release of the active ingredient with fewer side effects and maximum preservation of its effectiveness.
With continued use of Retiron 0.05, you can expect less discoloration (hyperpigmentation and those left behind by pimples), less acne and comedones, tighter, firmer skin, reduced wrinkle depth, narrowed pores and a smoother texture.
Retiron 0.05 is additionally strengthened with a combination of ingredients that restores the barrier function and provides a supporting effect to the retina in a way that further reduces the irritating potential of the product. Niacinamide, three essential ceramides and their precursors and panthenol reduce irritations and preserve barrier function, while at the same time madecasoside, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E hydrate, prevent drying of the skin and provide antioxidant protection.
In addition, plant extracts of honeysuckle and cloudberry have a strong anti-inflammatory and soothing effect and contain omega fatty acids that further strengthen the skin's barrier function and help it retain moisture and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
The moisturizing texture of the serum emulsion is quickly absorbed into the skin, and can be used on its own or combined with moisturizing serums, neutral nourishing creams and oil boosters, depending on the skin type.
"Retinization"
When introducing retinal into your skincare routine, it is possible to experience a temporary process of adaptation to the ingredient that lasts for about 3 to 4 weeks. Namely, retinoids treat the skin in such a way as to increase the dynamics of cellular turnover in order to prevent the appearance of (micro)comedones that precede inflammatory acne, but also have a reparative and preventive effect on visible signs of aging (hyperpigmentation, wrinkles). Their action can temporarily result in flaking, irritation and acne, so for this reason, we advise you to start using the product twice a week.
