"My skin is generally unproblematic, but after the annual it is always full of pimples, especially on the forehead. I use a cream with a protective factor every day, light hydration and a mild cleansing gel. I also use acids, which I skip in the summer. Please help."

In addition to genetics and internal factors, the skin is affected by many external factors that make it necessary to adjust the facial care routine, especially in the summer under the influence of the sun, but also salty sea water and sweating that can irritate the skin and worsen or potentiate acne.
In order to keep the condition of the skin under control as much as possible, do not skip a few steps in your summer routine.

Double cleansing
We always recommend double cleansing, but it's especially important in the summer when you're applying layers and layers of SPF. Adequate protection against UV radiation is desirable and expected, but this type of product is designed to protect you as long as possible, so it is very important to remove it from the face properly to prevent clogging of pores. In this case, only the cleansing gel will not be enough, but we recommend removing the SPF gel (and make-up) with the Atomic oil cleanser before, which effectively dissolves long-lasting UV-protective, waterproof filters, and additionally helps release hardened sebum and dead skin cells from the pores.

Treatment product
You may have ditched the classic exfoliant or retinoid during the summer, but there are alternatives that will help keep your pores clear. We present two examples, depending on preferences and skin type: Volcanica is a clay mask that effectively cleans the pores and leaves the skin fresh, and is used 1-2 times a week in the face care routine. Volcanica is suitable for all skin types because its creamy texture based on moisturizing glycerin does not dry out or tighten the skin. The second option is also used occasionally in the routine, as a step in place of your usual gel cleanser. It is a Clarion 2% BHA cleanser. This gel cleanser contains 2% salicylic acid, successfully unclogs and cleans pores, and thanks to the gel formulation that washes off after a short contact, it enables mild exfoliation that is well tolerated even on sensitive skin. Although salicylic acid thins the surface layer of dead cells with long-term use, it does not make the skin more sensitive to the sun.

Light texture
In the summer, it is advisable to use a minimum of layers in the routine, especially for combination and oily skin, so we advise you to use one product with a light texture in the morning and in the evening that will not contribute to clogging the pores, but at the same time has an additional effect that will benefit the skin and be maximally even. For the day, choose a product like Solar I fluid, which has a very light texture, is quickly absorbed, and at the same time hydrates and softens the skin and protects against a wide spectrum of UV radiation. Evening hydration can include a product that targets irregularities and is suitable for daily use and does not make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Architect is a serum emulsion that nourishes, treats acne and spots and helps to even out the texture and tone of the skin thanks to the potent addition of 1% bakuchiol, which is an ideal summer replacement for keratolytics. Namely, bakuchiol functions analogously to retinoids, but is much gentler, can be used regardless of the sun and is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
To repeat, double cleansing + light hydration + SPF + treatment as needed suitable for the summer months = healthier skin and cleaner pores.
