"I've been struggling with severe acne since I was 16. I've been on Roaccutane therapy twice. The last time in the last year and a half, so my face is clear at the moment. However, now I'm struggling with dryness, enlarged pores and light blackheads on my nose . Also, I have deep acne scars. Please recommend a product for complete care."

+ treatment for scars
Explanation :
Roaccutane is a drug that contains isotretinoin, a derivative of vitamin A that belongs to the retinoid group and is prescribed exclusively by a specialist dermatologist in cases of very severe acne, when the condition does not improve for a long time with some other forms of acne treatment. It is an intensive therapy that is carried out under medical supervision, with strict instructions. With this therapy, the skin becomes dry, because isotretinoin acts on the sebaceous glands and reduces sebum production. In addition to the skin, the lips and the rest of the body are also significantly dried out, so special attention must be paid to abundant hydration during the entire period of therapy.
For extremely dry skin that needs renewal after therapy, we recommend non-drying cleansers and Úna cream. It is a nourishing cream rich in gentle emollients that deeply nourishes the skin, restores the dried, cracked and scaly surface layer of the skin, and at the same time has a soothing effect. Since the skin in the photos sent does not appear so dry, we would prefer the CICA-CERA cream, which has a slightly lighter texture than the Úna cream, but is still rich in nourishing and restorative ingredients suitable for skin regeneration. If the skin is still slightly oily on critical areas, the choice falls on CICA-CERU.
Cosmetic products unfortunately cannot help scars in the form of indentations, because this is atrophied, destroyed tissue that no cream can replace. It is recommended to rehabilitate scars with an additional treatment, such as microneedling, exclusively in cooperation with a dermatologist who will best be able to assess, depending on the type of scars, which treatment will be appropriate for your skin.
As a treatment product in the routine for smaller irregularities, we suggest a clay mask. Volcanica is a unique product, because it cleans pores and soothes inflamed skin without the usual drying and tightening, thanks to the formula with moisturizing glycerin. Volcanica is applied 1-2x a week to clean and dry facial skin and washed off with lukewarm water after ten minutes.
In addition to being dried out, after the end of Roaccutane therapy, the skin is still very photosensitive, especially with such a light skin tone as Klara's. For this reason, it is very important to protect the skin from the sun every day. Solar I is an excellent choice because, in addition to having a high protection factor, it also nourishes, protects the skin's barrier function and soothes the skin. Solar I can be applied alone in the morning routine, or after the cream, depending on how dry the skin really is.
With this skin condition, we always recommend basic care with gentle cleansers, abundant hydration and SPF, and the dermatologist will help recommend additional treatment for scars. Clara, well done!
