If you’ve been wondering how to use our first mask in your skincare routine, you’re in the right place. Volcanica is a clay mask for additional care of normal, combination and oily skin that:

  • purifies and tightens pores,
  • regulates sebum production,
  • helps against irregularities,
  • smoothes the skin surface,
  • has a soothing effect and
  • reduces skin reactivity.

How to use?

Volcanica is designed as an occasional treatment for skin that suffers from surface impurities, clogged pores and sebaceous filaments, but also for skin that just wants to keep its pores clean and texture smooth. The mask should be applied to dry skin after cleansing, evenly over the entire face, avoiding the skin area around the eyes. In addition to the face, this mask can also be used on the skin of the neck and décolleté, parts that are often neglected during skin care. You can rinse Volcanica completely with lukewarm water after 10 to 15 minutes, depending on your preferences and skin type. After application, you will notice that the mask will gradually become drier, but after rinsing the skin will not be dried out and uncomfortably tight, but fresh and soft, thanks to a thoughtfully selected hydroglycerin, creamy base. Recommended frequency of use is once a week.

Combining exfoliants and masks

If you already use a chemical exfoliant like Lumion or Clarion in your skincare routine, skip the exfoliant on the day you decide to apply the mask because the clay combination in the mask has a mild exfoliating effect on the skin. Also, this type of treatment, which purifies pores and removes excess sebum, is sufficient on its own without combining it with some keratolytic or strong active ingredient in the same routine.

Skintegra Volcanica, Infrared, Spectra

Skincare after the mask

If your skin tolerates, there are no contraindications when combining any product with Volcanica, but our general recommendation is optimal hydration that will keep the skin as smooth and hydrated as possible. In particular, Infrared hydrating serum and Spectra soothing serum emulsion make a combination that intensely moisturizes and plumps all skin types, including sensitive skin, while dry skin can also combine Naro oil booster for extra nourishment.
