Superba C is a concentrated vitamin serum with 10% vitamin C, vitamin E and ferulic acid. It is an ideal ally for tired skin that shows first signs of aging (wrinkles and fine lines and loss of freshness with the appearance of uneven tone and pigmentation spots).

The form of vitamin C found in the versatile Superba C serum is safe, stable and water-soluble sodium ascorbyl phosphate, better known as SAP.

SAP is a potent antioxidant effective in brightening an uneven and tired complexion and keeping the skin clear.

SAP reduces skin oxidative stress caused by environmental factors such as UV radiation and air pollution, which leads to skin damage that accumulates over time. Accumulation of skin damage, as well as reduced collagen production, are manifested on the skin as signs of aging.

In addition to its antioxidant effect, SAP also acts as a melanin inhibitor, which is why it is especially important against UV damage-induced hyperpigmentation (such as melasma) and procedural pigmentation.

The real difference compared to classic C-serums, except for the optimal concentration of SAP, is made by ferulic acid and vitamin E. This excellently researched and complementary combination of ingredients is an indispensable part of the best C-serums due to its exceptional antioxidant and photoprotective ability. The application of C+E+ferulic acid in the morning under products with UV protection enhances the photoprotective effect when exposed to the sun.

Skintegra Superba C, a concentrated serum with C+E+ferulic acid, is gentle enough even for sensitive skin. The gentle, delicate and fast-absorbing texture enables maximum effective, in-depth absorption of active ingredients.

The product is in a UV-proof, recyclable glass container. The shelf life of the product is 6 months at room temperature, and if stored in a cold place, the product lasts for a year.

Frequently asked questions

Is Superba C serum alone a sufficient product for my entire skincare routine?

No. Superba C is an extremely potent, fast-absorbing and watery serum designed to target specific problems: primarily tired and lifeless skin, damaged and prone to irregularities. Superba C does not have the texture of a face cream, nor can it replace it. For all skin types and conditions, Superba C can be combined with our serum emulsions, boosters and treatment creams, and if necessary, with exfoliants.

Is it better to apply Superba C in the morning or in the evening?

Every time you apply Superba C, your skin will thank you. However, we believe that the best time for Superba C is in the morning as it adds to the antioxidant potential of any product you combine it with. During the day, we are exposed to environmental pollution, harmful effects of UV radiation, smog, cigarette smoke, etc. Superba C is your daily shield against oxidative stress.

Why is the shelf life of Superba C so short?

When you compare reputable cosmetic manufacturers with professional lines of vitamin C serums, you will see that there is an overlap in the short duration of highly concentrated C-serums. These expiration dates are really short because vitamin C loses potency over time and the manufacturer guarantees its clients not only the microbiological stability of the product but also the stability of vitamin C in the formulation. As vitamin C degrades in the product, its utilization is no longer complete, i.e. a product that is still microbiologically correct simply no longer has the necessary efficiency. For this reason, vitamin C in professional lines, depending on the form and concentration of vitamin C used, usually has a short shelf life, certainly much shorter than the microbiological testing of the product suggests.
