Skintegra Sphynx is a treatment gel-cream designed for the dry and sensitive eye area and is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and other soothing and repairing components. It is intended for preventive and corrective care for all skin types which may begin as early as in the mid-twenties.

Sphynx’s texture is silky, smoothing, fast-absorbing, hydrating and extremely gentle. Its carefully selected clinically tested active ingredients act against non-adequate cell functioning of the delicate skin in the eye area and correct it.

Sphynx deeply nourishes and moisturises the skin, increases its elasticity and reduces the depth of expression lines, discretely lightening dark circles and providing the skin with necessary vitamins and minerals in order to strengthen its natural defence mechanisms. A complex of peptides, ceramides, provitamins A, C and E, plant collagens, antioxidants and aminoacids synergically improves collagen and elastin synthesis, restores moisture levels and repairs skin and as a result, the eye area immediately looks more nourished and well rested.

    Is using this eye cream twice daily essential?

    If for whatever reason, you feel more comfortable using eye creams solely at night-time or vice versa, of course you can use it only once a day. However, for optimal results regarding eye area discolouration and wrinkle expression, Sphynx is best used twice a day throughout 12 weeks period. You will most likely notice some of Sphynx’s beneficial effects sooner. Skin hydration and brightness should be noticeable within days of starting this regimen.

    How do I apply an eye cream?

    Sphynx is to be used on periorbital area by gently patting a small amount with your ring finger. Do not use it on the mucosal areas as the cream spreads a little as it absorbs in the skin. Instead, keep a little distance from the eyelash line when you apply it. Slight cooling sensation may be felt shortly upon application if your eye area is particularly sensitive.

    I’m often experiencing puffy eyes in the morning. Will this cream relieve puffiness?

    Oedema of the tissue is not really related to the skin itself but can signal biochemical changes in the body which affect the skin in such a manner. No cream can prevent tissue swelling. Cooling the skin physically and eating less salt in the evening can potentially reduce puffiness.

    Sphynx contains many actives. Can I mix it in with other high-potency serums?

    Absolutely, if the skin can tolerate it. When you are introducing a new product in your skincare regimen, it is always smart to patch test it for at least 24 hours on a small surface of the skin. Eye area is especially sensitive and reactive because the skin is so thin and fragile and this is why it can react more abruptly. So generally, yes - you can mix it up, but do it smartly.

    My skin is prone to allergies and atopy. Is this product adequately gentle for my skin?

    Considering the fact that this eye cream is both reconstructive and corrective, it is potentially a little strong for compromised skin. We would recommend a product with fewer actives for skin prone to allergies and atopy. Please look into our AD cream UNA which is beautifully suited for your skin type.
